People are at the heart of our mission. Yours could be at the heart of theirs.
As a Human Resources Business Partner at the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB), you’ll help attract, develop and support the workforce behind the Bank’s social mandate, working across recruitment, onboarding, performance, career development, HR systems and organisational initiatives.
About the CEB
Established in 1956, the CEB is a multilateral development bank with a unique social mandate from its 43 member states. Through financing and technical assistance, the Bank supports projects that improve access to education, healthcare and affordable housing, and responds to the needs of vulnerable communities across Europe.
The Human Resources Division helps the Bank attract, develop and retain the people needed to deliver its mission. Within the Talent Management Unit, you’ll join a collaborative HR team working across recruitment, learning and development, performance management and employee experience.
Your role
Reporting to the Head of the Talent Management Unit, you’ll support a dedicated client group and work closely with colleagues across HR. You’ll act as a practical HR partner to managers and employees, helping ensure people practices are consistent, effective and aligned with the Bank’s priorities.
This broad HRBP role covers the employee lifecycle. You’ll support HR queries, contribute to recruitment and onboarding, support performance and career development processes, maintain accurate HR systems and data, and take part in projects that improve HR service delivery.
What you’ll bring
You’ll bring a relevant university degree and at least two to four years’ HR experience across the employee lifecycle, including performance processes, HR advisory support and employee lifecycle management. Experience in an international organisation, international financial institution or private banking environment would be an advantage, as would experience in talent acquisition and recruitment processes.
You’ll be organised, collaborative and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a structured, multicultural environment. You’ll also be confident using HR systems and people data, and familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors or other SAP-based HR systems would be an advantage.
You’ll have an excellent command of either English or French, together with a commitment to develop a good working knowledge of the other official language. Only nationals of CEB Member States are eligible.
